Prime Minister Borissov  Confers with Lukoil President Alekperov

Sofia, June 15 (BTA) - The Government will work for ensuring a favourable business environment in Bulgaria and making it an attractive destination for foreign investors, said here Thursday Prime Minister Boyko Borissov during meeting with the President of the Russian Lukoil oil company, Vagit Alekperov, the Government press service reported.

Borissov has focused on the measures taken by his Cabinet to fight contraband trade, especially that of fuels. He stressed that all ministries engaged with this issue are working very actively to achieve maximum efficiency.

Lukoil's plans to do business in Bulgaria were also on the meeting's agenda. The company's investments in Bulgaria so far exceed 3 billion leva.
