As a right-wing party, There Is Such a People (TISP) believes responsible behaviour towards Bulgarian citizens necessitates forming a government to save the country from the total ruin caused by Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) during their governance, TISP floor leader Toshko Yordanov said here on Thursday during the discussion on the Zhelyazkov cabinet.
Yordanov acknowledged that TISP is choosing the difficult path to restore the State.
"The entire [governance] agreement is 98% identical," Yordanov said, addressing comments from Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), who argued earlier that the governance agreement includes all the principles of liberal democracy but involves participants in the governing majority who violate them.
He added that a government that does not include Movement for Rights and Freedoms – New Beginning is possible.
Yordanov said there have already been two opportunities for a cabinet without GERB. The one time was when TISP was the leading political force, but Democratic Bulgaria thwarted that chance.
"The second time without [MRF-New Beginning] Delyan Peevski and GERB leader Boyko Borissov was during TISP's third mandate in the previous cabinet," he added.
