Petar Dilov took over as Economy and Industry Minister from Petko Nikolov on Thursday. Dilov assured the Ministry's employees that he would work in a spirit of continuity and to preserve economic and financial stability, the Ministry said.

"We will work actively to increase the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy and to promote investment. We will stick to the priorities at EU level and will work for the effective absorption of EU funds," said Dilov.

He thanked Nikolov for his professionalism and hard work.
