Evtim Miloshev handed over the post of tourism minister to Miroslav Borshosh, who will helm the sector in Bulgaria's 105th government, said the Tourism Ministry. The two met to discuss the main priorities and key projects for the development of the sector.

Miroslav Borshosh is the eighth Tourism Minister of Bulgaria.

"I would like to thank Interim Minister Evtim Miloshev for the efforts he made for the development of the tourism sector in a very difficult environment. I am sure that I am building a good and working team, with which we will face the challenge of turning tourism into one of the key sectors for the development of Bulgaria and its economy," said Minister Miroslav Borshosh.

Caretaker Minister Evtim Miloshev said in his remarks that Bulgaria had the most successful year for Bulgarian tourism - both in terms of number of visitors and revenues. "This is due to our efforts, as well as those of the sector and the entire administration, who work with dedication for the development of Bulgarian tourism and achieving results," Evtim Miloshev stressed.
