The new Minister of Health, Assoc. Prof. Silvi Kirilov, will work to build on what has been achieved so far, the Ministry of Health said after the handover ceremony here on Thursday. 

"The best work is building on what has been started and achieved so far. This is what I will focus on," Minister Kirilov was quoted as saying in the press release.

Reporting on the work done in the past nine months, outgoing caretaker health minister Dr. Galya Kondeva said: "I think we have done a good job, but you also have many challenges ahead of you. I wish you success and I know you will manage," she added.
