site.btaIndustrial Development, Recruiting Skilled Staff Are Among Priorities of New Innovation Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth Tomislav Donchev took over the post from predecessor Rosen Karadimov during a ceremony at the Ministry of Innovation, the Ministry said.

"The Cabinet's priorities include implementing policies to modernize the country, supporting the development of Bulgarian enterprises, effectively managing public investments and accelerating the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan," Donchev said.

He also said that among the main tasks of the Innovation Ministry will be the development of Bulgarian industry and the provision of qualified personnel.

Rosen Karadimov stressed that the caretaker cabinet was actively working to compact the policies and functions of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth for competitiveness, economic growth and industrialization of the country. 

Earlier today, Parliament elected a regular government with Rosen Zhelyazkov as Prime Minister, and the handover of power ceremony took place at the Council of Ministers.
