Sofia, June 6 (BTA) - President Rumen Radev conferred here on Tuesday with former French foreign minister and diplomatic adviser of President Francois Mitterrand, Hubert Vedrine, who is visiting at the invitation of the French Institute in Bulgaria to participate in a debate about EU foreign policy.

Radev and Vedrine highly assessed the development of Bulgarian-French relations and discussed their importance in bilateral and European terms, as well as important topics on the EU's agenda.

President Radev introduced the guest with the measures Bulgaria takes in relation to the migrant crisis, being an external EU border. On his part, Vedrine shared his views about addressing more effectively the refugee and migrant flows, as well as his assessment of refugees' integration process in France and in Europe. LI/MY
