Bulgaria is home to Europe's southernmost ice mass - the Snezhnika glacieret, located in the cirque Golemiya Kazan below Vihren Peak (2430-2480 m). The other microglacier, Banski suhodol, is in the eponymous cirque, located below the karst rim Koncheto at 2620-2700 m.
