Velichie's MPs will not support the majority's proposed State budget for 2025, Floor Leader Ivelin Mihaylov said Wednesday on the sidelines of Parliament. He and nine other members of the political formation were sworn in as MPs earlier in the day.

"The Bulgarian population is shrinking every year, our economy is in decline, thanks to "the racket of GERB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms more and more Bulgarians are closing their businesses and going abroad," Mihaylov argued for the negative vote. "We feel like we are here to express the will of part of Bulgarian people and do what we can to make everybody's lives better," he said of Velichie's purpose for entering the legislature.
