site.btaGovernment Adopts Concept for Development of Bulgaria's Regulatory Policy in 2025-2027


The Council of Ministers Wednesday adopted a concept for the development of Bulgaria's regulatory policy in 2025-2027, the Government Information Service reported. The concept was developed in response to the recommendations of the Regulatory Policy Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and in conformity with sub-priority "Regulatory Policy to the Benefit of Economic Development" of the National Programme for Development of Bulgaria 2030.
The concept's main goals meet the following recommendations of the Regulatory Policy Committee: improvement of the legislative process; reduction of the administrative burden and and improvement of administrative services; promotion of the use of alternative and flexible regulatory approaches; improvement of administrative control; increase of the administrative capacity.
The concept's adoption will ensure a real governmental vision on the development of the regulatory policy in the next three years and will see the prioritization of specific measures that would contribute to the implementation of the targets set, the press release reads.
