site.btaGovernment Proposes Amendment to Decree Establishing Positions within Armed Forces, National Service for Protection Requiring Senior Officer Ranks

During its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers adopted a decision proposing to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria the issuance of a Decree amending and supplementing Decree No. 85 of February 28, 2012, which establishes the positions within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria and the National Service for Protection that require senior officer ranks.

Under the annex to item 1, in section 1. Bulgarian Army, the following positions are added:

• Chief of Staff of the Air Force, requiring the senior officer rank of Brigadier General;
• Chief of Staff of the Navy, requiring the senior officer rank of Flotilla Admiral.
