Bulgaria backs proposals by Czechia, France, Croatia, Latvia, Sweden and Italy for renewing the terms of nine judges of the General Court of the EU, appointing two other judges for a first term and two more to serve out the remainder of the term of previous judges. The Bulgarian position was adopted at a government meeting Wednesday, said the government press office.

The proposals of the seven countries will be considered in Brussels on March 26 at a meeting of the Permanent Representatives Committee II (COREPERII).
