The International Monodrama Theatre Festival "To the Stars" will run from February 23 to February 25, the City Mark Art Centre, host of the event, announced Sunday.

The shows are guest performances and are presented in the original language of the respective country.

"The festival was established in 2006 to create an environment for dialogue and exchange of experience between representatives of culture and art from different countries and to introduce Bulgarian theatre lovers to the cultural diversity of the participating countries. The forum is held under the patronage of Vice President Iliana Iotova and is organized by the Osnova-Ta Foundation with the assistance of the Monodrama Forum of the International Theatre Institute at UNESCO," the team says.

Among the highlights of the 13th edition are Blood Wedding, a co-production of Spain and Argentina, and Mr. 0.8 from Seoul, South Korea.
