Bulgarian mountains on Friday are offering poor conditions for tourism, the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross reported on Friday morning. The weather is foggy, with snowfall in some areas.

Bansko and Pamporovo remain the only resorts where the winter season is still open.

According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, many areas below 1,700 m will see rain showers in the afternoon and snowfall above that altitude. Highs: 7C at 1,200 m, 1C at 2,000 m.
