Chetin Kazak Unanimously  Elected Vice President of NATO Parliamentary Assembly

Istanbul/Sofia, November 21 (BTA) - Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) MP and deputy floor leader Chetin Kazak Monday was unanimously elected Vice President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly at the organizationТs annual session taking place in Istanbul, MRF said in a press release.

The session adopted several resolutions pertaining to the problems and challenges facing NATO, including on the fight against terrorism, the global security threats, the need to increase defence spending in member states.

Kazak has been a member of the Bulgarian delegation in NATO's Parliamentary Assembly since 2001. His term of office as Vice President will be two years.
