site.btaBulgarian Film "Because I Love Bad Weather" to Be Screened at Seoul International Women's Film Fest

The Bulgarian feature film Because I Love Bad Weather will be screened at the 26th Seoul International Women's Film Festival, the State Institute for Culture with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on its Facebook page on Tuesday.

The Bulgarian film was selected among 319 films from 69 countries and will be one of only eight titles to compete in the Discovery programme during the festival.

The film's director and writer Yana Lekarska it was a dream come true to screen her first feature film outside Bulgaria for the first time in South Korea, where she lived for almost four years and graduated in film directing.

Because I Love Bad Weather tells the story of Irina and Boris, two childhood friends who had not seen each other in 20 years, only to meet once again as grown-ups in the coastal town where they used to spend the summers together.
