Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov told Wednesday's parliamentary sitting that one of the important and ambitious goals that his government has is to bring the Bulgarian economy out of the grey sector. He recalled that employers' organizations in 2024 reported that policies aimed at tackling the adverse impact of the grey economy have stalled.

According to the Prime Minister, the National Revenue Agency (NRA) and the National Customs Agency should reach the standards expected of them. He instructed the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov to coordinate the link between the systems of the NRA, Customs and access to the cameras of the Road Infrastructure Agency.

The goal is greater and more effective real-time control of deliveries. "We have the necessary technological infrastructure in place, and it is high time that it was put to good use," Zhelyazkov said.
