site.btaGERB-UDF Starts Wednesday Talks for Joint Political Action in Parliament, Borissov to Lead Negotiating Team
GERB-UDF will begin on Wednesday talks to discuss joint political action within the 51st National Assembly, GERB's press center said here on Tuesday. The negotiating team of the largest political force in the new Legislature will be led by GERB leader Boyko Borissov. It also includes Raya Nazaryan, Tomislav Donchev and Rosen Zhelyazkov.
BSP-United Left are the first ones invited at 8:30 am, followed by talks with There Is Such a People at 9:30 am.
On Monday, before the start of Parliament's first session, Borissov announced a proposal for a four-way coalition between GERB-UDF, Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria, BSP-United Left and There Is Such a People. He also said that he would be the candidate for prime minister and would not back down. At the same time, Borissov declared that it is possible to form a regular a government without the MRF-New Beginning, the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms, Vazrazhdane and MeCH.
