site.btaVP Urges Bulgarian Institutions to React Pronto to Trump's Tariffs Decision

Commenting on President Trump's decision to impose 20% tariffs on imports from the EU to the US, Bulgarian Vice President Iliana Iotova said here on Thursday that "Bulgarian institutions need to react urgently" to the decision.

"Bulgarian large, small and medium-sized enterprises need to be engaged in a very serious, very objective discussion so as to decide on a response to this new policy, not only as an EU Member State but also on a bilateral basis. If necessary, urgent measures should be taken so that we do not lag behind once again, so that people are not faced with bankruptcies," Iotova said.
