MRF - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski described as a “waste of time” the no-confidence vote against the Zhelyazkov cabinet in front of journalists on the sidelines of parliament after the vote in the hall. The motion for a vote of no-confidence for failure in the foreign policy sector was supported by 54 MPs, 150 were against, there were no abstentions, the vote failed. 

"Why did we waste people's time," Peevski asked and again announced that he had voted against the vote. "We have to work for the people, what are these votes, the budget has yet to be implemented," Peevski said. "They are going to table votes again. And they will not pass either," he said.
