Velichie Floor Leader Ivelin Mihaylov spoke to journalists in Parliament after the Rosen Zhelyazkov Cabinet survived a no-confidence vote  over the "persistent failure" of its foreign policy, introduced by Vazrazhdane and co-sponsored by his parliamentary group and MECh. The vote was 54-150, with no abstentions. Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria did not vote.

"The topic and the reasoning of the motion have to be chosen in a different manner, we already said it sets a dividing line and will not achieve the desired effect," Mihaylov said.

The Velichie Floor Leader described the way the parties voted as "expected". "Vazrazhdane took a somewhat divisive approach," he believes. According to him, other parties would have backed the motion had the reasoning behind it been different.

According to Mihaylov, topics like corruption or waste management are options for a vote of no-confidence.
