The Bulgarian men’s national football team has dropped three places in the FIFA rankings, now occupying 85th position. According to the updated standings, Bulgaria has been surpassed by the teams of Gabon, El Salvador, and Haiti.

Bulgaria has 1289.03 points, which is 12 fewer compared to the previous ranking. The Bulgarian team lost both legs of the playoff for promotion to a higher group in the Nations League to the Republic of Ireland.

In the FIFA rankings, the world champion Argentina remains in the lead, while Spain has overtaken France and is now in second place, with "Les Bleus" dropping one position to third. Following them are the teams of England and Brazil, and the top ten is rounded out by the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, and Germany.
