Following a flag-raising ceremony in front of the President's Administration building, Radev and King Abdullah II held a private meeting, followed by plenary talks between the official delegations of the two countries. The discussions are expected to focus on the prospects for further development of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Jordan in areas such as the economy, defence, science and education, agriculture, and tourism, as well as international security issues.

On the second day of the visit, the two heads of state will co-host a high-level meeting in Sofia as part of the Aqaba Process initiative. At the beginning of April, heads of state, government representatives, and members of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations will meet, at the invitation of President Radev and King Abdullah II, to discuss the security environment with a focus on the Balkans.
