site.btaKardzhali to Host BTA's Europe on Balkans: Cohesion Skills Conference

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) will hold a local conference in the southcentral town of Kardzhali as part of the Europe on Balkans: Cohesion Skills project the Agency implements with the support of the European Commission. The event will take place at the BTA National Press Club in Kardzhali.

Representatives of state and local authorities, educational institutions and the non-governmental sector are invited to participate in the conference.

Europe on Balkans: Cohesion Skills is a follow-up project by BTA designed to provide objective information and an accurate overview of the European Union's cohesion policy, including the Just Transition Fund, the relevant support under the Recovery Plan for Europe or the Technical Support Instrument. Special emphasis will be placed on education and skills as a driver for regional development.

Between November 2024 and September 2025, BTA is scheduled to host discussions at its press clubs in the following cities: Blagoevgrad, Burgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin, Vratsa, Gabrovo, Dobrich, Kazanlak, Kardzhali, Kyustendil, Lovech, Montana, Pazardzhik, Pernik, Pleven, Razgrad, Ruse, Samokov, Svishtov, Sliven, Smolyan, Sofia, Stara Zagora, Troyan, Targovishte, Haskovo, Shumen, and Yambol. Cross-border conferences will be held in Belgrade, Bosilegrad, Bucharest, Edirne, Skopje, and Thessaloniki.
