site.btaCharity Initiative Collects Bottle Caps to Finance Purchase of Hospital Equipment in Silistra

People of all ages in Silistra joined the Caps for the Future charity campaign, which collected bottle caps for recycling in the town on Saturday. 

According to the organizers, the funds collected from the recycling will be used to purchase equipment for the Neonatal Department of the Silistra Hospital and help 20 children's and maternity wards in the country. "The caps collected today will be purchased by a local company, so we will save money, as transporting them to a recycler in Tervel won't be necessary", said Magdalena Genova, organizer of the initiative.

Caps for the Future has thus far raised funds for six ambulances for children, dozens of incubators and a lot of medical equipment in the country.
