Bulgarian Defence Chief Meets NATO Special Operations Forces HQ Commander Webb

Sofia, April 26 (BTA) - Bulgarian Chief of Defence Lieutenant-General Konstantin Popov Tuesday met with Marshall Web, Commander of NATO Special Operations Forces HQ. Webb is paying a two-day visit here, the Defence Ministry said.

The two discussed the current state and the future development of 68th Special Forces Brigade, the process of transformation of NATO's Special Operations Forces and the Bulgarian participation and cooperation with NATO structures and the special operations forces of NATO countries and partners.

Also on Tuesday, Lieutenant-General Webb met with members of the parliamentary Defence Committee. Within the framework of his visit he is scheduled to confer with Defence Minister Nikolay Nenchev.
