Over 100,000 Socialists Vote on How, with Whom BSP Will Participate in Presidential Elections

Sofia, June 27 (BTA) - An internal party poll was launched nation-wide on Monday among the members of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), asking them to express their opinion about how their party should participate in the upcoming presidential elections and with which other parties it could negotiate nominating a joint candidate. Over 100,000 socialists are eligible to participate in the poll, which will continue until July 3. The results will be released within a week of the poll's final day.

"I voted for a strong BSP and a united Left-wing that is ready to win the presidential elections," said BSP MP and Executive Bureau member Kiril Dobrev. According to MP Georgi Gyokov, victory in the elections will come with broad support from the Left.
