Sofia, May 30 (BTA) - Bulgaria's Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov arrived on a two-day official visit to Moscow on Monday at the invitation of Russian Prosecutor General Yury Chaika, the prosecuting magistracy said in a press release. Tsatsarov is accompanied by Deputy Prosecutor General and Head of the Supreme Administrative Prosecution Office Asya Petrova.

The visit is taking place under a Cooperation Agreement that the two countries' prosecution services signed in 2015. The document provides for mutual assistance in terrorism-related criminal matters and help in the recovery of corruption assets from abroad.

Tsatsarov is scheduled to discuss measures against terrorist threats, identification and criminal prosecution of foreign fighters and suppression of organized criminal group activity. LN/LG
