International Youth Centre Stara Zagora to Receive Council of EuropeТs Quality Label for Youth Centres

Strassbourg, May 15 (BTA correspondent Nikolay Jeliazkov) - The Council of Europe (CoE) will award on Tuesday its Quality Label to the international Youth Centre in the southern city of Stara Zagora, the Council reported Monday.

The CoE honours with this Label the Youth Centres that have a diversified set of activities and programmes bringing together youth at risk with other young people. This is exactly what the International Youth Centre Stara Zagora stands out for, providing high-quality training on human right education to youth workers and youth leaders.

This will be the ninth youth centre to receive this honour for its achievements in promoting CoE standards and values in youth policy and youth work. The Quality Label for Youth Centres provides an opportunity for such bodies to benefit from support measures offered by the CoE.

The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday at the International Youth Centre, in the presence of Stara Zagora Mayor Zhivko Todorov and the Executive Director of the European Youth Centre Budapest, Gordana Berjan.
