site.btaFinance Minister Petkova to Attend Economic and Financial Affairs Council Talks in Brussels

Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova will take part in the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) meeting scheduled for March 11, 2025, in Brussels, the Ministry of Finance said on its website on Monday.

The agenda includes discussions aimed at reaching a political agreement on the Directive for Administrative Cooperation in the field of taxation.

During the session, the European Commission will present the first Omnibus legislative packages, part of the Competitiveness Compass initiative.

Council members will review the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility and approve changes to Ireland's National Recovery and Resilience Plan. They will also discuss the economic and financial impacts of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
