site.btaAnnual Maintenance of Kozloduy N-plant Unit 6 Completed

The annual maintenance of Unit 6 of the Kozloduy N-plant was completed on November 16. After a check by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency the unit was brought back on stream at 9.28 am, said the N-plant on Thursday. 

The planned maintenance of the unit’s system was carried out successfully in connection with the long-term operation and improving security levels. The reactor was restocked with fresh nuclear fuel. In line with technological rules the unit is switched back gradually to reaching full capacity. 

Unit 5 is working according to the energy production schedule.
