The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) – New Beginning insists that Parliament swiftly adopt the State Budget Act and all essential legislation for the people and businesses, followed by new snap parliamentary elections. The call came in a position by MRF – New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski, published on Monday.

Peevski emphasized that those who previously failed to form a cabinet with Euro-Atlantic orientation led by Rosen Zhelyazkov from GERB in the previous parliament are now trying to "exploit the largest political force, GERB".

According to Peevski, Bulgaria can have a majority with a clear mandate for a regular government only after democratically conducted elections.

Earlier in January, Peevski commented on the negotiations for a regular cabinet between GERB-UDF, BSP – United Left, and There Is Such a People, stating that MRF – New Beginning would not participate in such a "foul assemblage".
