The traffic at the exit for trucks at the Lesovo border crossing checkpoint is intense on Monday morning, Border Police said. 

Temporarily, the passage through checkpoint Malko Tarnovo will be carried out on one route due to the reconstruction of the checkpoint. 

On the borders with Serbia and North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

On the border with Romania, the works for the overhaul of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse have been resumed, therefore a temporary traffic organisation has been introduced and traffic will be in one lane with through traffic and regulated by the contractor's staff. 

On the border with Greece, due to the increased interest in travelling down the Rudozem - Xanthi route, construction works are being carried out on the Greek section of the road. The Greek authorities have posted signs indicating that the area is a construction site and no outsiders are allowed.

Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the area of Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
