Bulgaria’s Deputy Foreign Minister Maria Anguelieva received copies of the letters of credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of San Marino, Giovanni Luca on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

The sides committed to intensifying bilateral trade and economic cooperation and discussed the potential for deepening both countries’ partnership in the tourism sector.

Anguelieva and Luca agreed that the signing of the EU-San Marino Association Agreement would serve as a catalyst for deepening relations between Bulgaria and San Marino.

The sides also praised the ongoing dialogue within international organizations, the press release said.
