site.btaBulgaria Was One of Three EU Countries with Lowest Job Vacancy Rates in Q4 of 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the job vacancy rate in the EU was 2.3%, the same as in the previous quarter and down from 2.6% in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to figures published by Eurostat on Tuesday.

The lowest job vacancy rates in the fourth quarter of 2024 were observed in Bulgaria, Poland and Romania (0.7% in all of them), followed by Spain (0.9%).

By contrast, the highest job vacancy rates were recorded in Belgium and the Netherlands (4.1% in both of them), followed by Austria (3.6%).

In the third quarter of 2024, Bulgaria and Romania again had the lowest vacancy rates in the EU (0.8% in both of them).
