Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said that Bulgaria condemns Saturday's terrorist attacks against Israel, which killed at least 40 and left hundreds wounded.

Radev expressed Bulgaria's firm support and solidarity with Israel at this difficult time.

In a position released Saturday, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov strongly condemned Hamas' terrorist attacks against Israel and the violence against innocent Israeli citizens. "I express full solidarity with the Israeli people. My thoughts go to the victims of these attacks. I condemn terrorism in all its forms," Denkov said, as quoted by the Government Information Service.

Earlier on Saturday, Hamas carried out a surprise rocket attack on Israel, causing damages in many Israeli settlements, AFP reported. According to AP's information, at least 40 people were killed and 561 were injured.
