A second flight from Sofia to Tel Aviv is starting off, to evacuate another group of Bulgarian citizens from Israel, Transport and Communications Minister Georgi Gvozdeikov said at a briefing in the Council of Ministers on Sunday evening.

"I have just signed an order for the flight to be prepared," Gvozdeikov said, adding that the second group of evacuees have been asked to stay within the limits of the Bulgarian Embassy in Israel.

So far, 68 people have signed up for the second evacuation mission, and the aircraft can hold up to 90. Other EU countries have asked Bulgaria to take some of their people in Israel on board, the minister said.
