Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF)-New Beginning will not participate in this unscrupulous patchwork coalition, Movement of Rights and Freedoms (MRF)-New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski said on Friday during a press conference in Parliament.

The statement referred to the ongoing government formation negotiations between GERB-UDF, Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) - United Left, and There Is Such a People (TISP).

"I see GERB is piling up quite a few insects on their back—hopefully, when they crawl over them later, it won’t be their end. It’s GERB’s choice. Let them form a cabinet; if the government does its job, we will demand results for the people," Peevski said.

He added, "Let them cling together; listen to how they’re going around bargaining for ministers, deputy ministers, and posts. People have nothing to eat." When asked who he meant when he said "they're going around," Peevski responded, adding that the small parties, "which would not make it into Parliament if new elections were held."

"If elections were to take place, there will be a new party in, there will be GERB, Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF)-New Beginning, and Vazrazhdane. That’s what it will be," Peevski said.
