Education and Science Minister Galin Tsokov met with more than 90 students of the Plovdiv Language School (PLS) in Bulgaria's second most populous city on Friday within his ministry's anti-drug campaign "Just Say NO." The meeting was held on the initiative of the PLS Students' Parliament. Singer Nina Nikolina, one of the celebrities officially supporting the campaign, was a special guest at the event.

Tsokov told the young people that drugs are not a solution, all they do is ruin your health, dreams and life.

Students of 11th and 12th grades watched and commented on the films of the campaign, which are based on young people's stories. They addressed questions to the guests, thus sparking an intriguing discussion.

The three films made for the campaign star Zahari Baharov, Luiza Grigorova and Vesela Babinova. In an introductory video, the popular actors issue inspiring messages to young people, encouraging them to believe in themselves, resist bad habits and learn to say "no" when being urged to take up drugs.

The PLS meeting was one of the first events of the "Just Say NO" campaign, launched late in 2024. It is supported by some of the nation's most popular artists.
