The Government's Airbus flew to Tel Aviv at 6 am on Sunday to evacuate those Bulgarians wishing to leave Israel following Hamas' terrorist attacks a day earlier, the Government Information Service reported. To ensure the safe movement of the evacuees to the airport, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel Saturday talked with her Israeli counterpart Eli Cohen and with the Bulgarian Ambassador to Israel.

In Tel Aviv, the passengers were welcomed aboard by Minister of Transport and Communication Georgi Gvozdeikov.

Upon arrival in Sofia, they will be welcomed by Gabriel, National Assembly Chairman Rosen Zhelyazkov and Deputy Chair Filiz Hyusmenova.
