The Ankara Culture Road festival began on Saturday at the Turkish capital, the Anadolu Agency reported.

The festival, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is part of the Turkiye Culture Route Festivals. This year it is organized in 16 cities in the country, and the capital Ankara is the eleventh stop.

The festival will take place from September 21 to 29, with events in over 100 locations across the city.

On September 29, Intro Quartet and Friends will hold a concerts organized together with the Bulgarian Embassy in Ankara. The concert will be presented at the Ankara Painting and Sculpture Museum. Works by a number of composers will be presented, including Vivaldi, Rodriguez, Albinoni, Vangelis, Strauss, Quincy Jones, Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, Milcho Leviev, the embassy reported.

Concerts organized jointly with a number of other embassies will be held within the festival,  the Anadolu Agency reported.

The Ankara Culture Road Festival will open on Saturday with a concert by the Presidential Symphony Orchestra.
