Traffic is heavy at the Bulgarian Romanian border, specifically at the Kardam and Oryahovo border crossing points (BCP) at the exits for trucks, the General Directorate Border Police reported on its website on Monday. There is also intensive traffic at the exit for trucks at the Kapitan Andreevo crossing point on the border with Turkiye.

Traffic at all other Bulgarian border crossings is normal. Only cars and vans can cross the border with Greece through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad BCPs.

On the border with Serbia, at the Kalotina BCP, construction and maintenance works are being carried out, which require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganisation of the traffic of the vehicles passing through.
