Traffic is heavy at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing point (BCP) at the exit for trucks, the General Directorate of Border Police said on its website on Sunday. 

Traffic at all other Bulgarian border crossings is normal. Only cars and vans can cross the border with Greece through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad BCPs.

On the border with Serbia, at the Kalotina BCP, construction and maintenance works are being carried out, which require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganisation of the traffic of the vehicles passing through. During the holidays, those travelling by cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organisation before and in the area of the border crossing may extend crossing times, the border authorities added.
