Turkey's Chief Public Prosecutor Akarca, PM Borissov Discuss Refugee Crisis, Terrorist Threats

Sofia, April 12 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Turkey's Chief Public Prosecutor at the Supreme Court of Cassation Mehmet Akarca conferred here on Tuesday to discuss the refugee crisis, the terrorist threats and the fight against organized crime, Cabinet's press service reported.

Akarca is paying an official two-day visit to Bulgaria.

Borissov and the guest agreed that joint efforts between the countries are the only effective means to counter terrorist threats. The Prime Minister stressed the huge efforts Bulgaria is making to counter the refugee flow and human trafficking, noting that there is a need to deepen cooperation between partnering services as part of the measures against terrorism and the migration flow.
