Bulgaria Ranks Fourth at 2016 Eurovision Song Contest
Sofia, May 15 (BTA) - Bulgaria's contestant Poli Genova ranked fourth at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with her song "If Love Was a Crime". She received a total of 307 points from the participating countries' national juries and viewers at Saturday's Eurovision Grand Final.
Jamala from Ukraine won Eurovision with her song "1944" with a total of 534 points. In second place was Australia's Dami Im with her song "Sound Of Silence" (511 points), and Russia came third with the song "You Are the Only One" sung by Sergey Lazarev (491 points).
President Rosen Plevneliev congratulated Genova on the success achieved at Eurovision 2016, the Bulgarian head of State's press secretariat said in a press release Sunday.
