Alexander Velev Elected Director General of Bulgarian National Radio

Sofia, May 17 (BTA) - Alexander Velev was elected Director General of Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) by the Council for Electronic Media on Tuesday. He is to replace Radoslav Yankoulov, whose term expires at the end of May.

Velev headed BNR between 1998 and 2001.

There were 12 candidates for the post.
