Sofia, May 10 (BTA) - The Council of Ministers Wednesday replaced 22 regional governors, out of a total of 28. Following are the new appointees:
- Blagoevgrad: Bisser Mihailov;
- Varna: Stoyan Passev;
- Vratsa: Malina Nikolova;
- Kyustendil: Viktor Yanev;
- Lovech: Georgi Terziiski;
- Smolyan: Nedyalko Slavov;
- Haskovo: Stanislav Dechev;
- Yambol: Dimiter Ivanov;
- Pernik: Irena Sokolova;
- Turgovishte: Mitko Staikov;
- Vidin: Albena Georgieva;
- Pazardjik: Stefan Mirev;
- Silistra: Ivelin Ivanov;
- Veliko Turnovo: Lyubomira Popova;
- Gabrovo: Nevena Petkova;
- Kurdjali: Nikola Chanev;
- Montana: Rossen Belchev;
- Pleven: Miroslav Petrov;
- Razgrad: Gyunai Hyusmen;
- Sliven: Chavdar Bouzhourski;
- Stara Zagora: Gergana Mikova;
- Shoumen: Stefan Zhelev.
Ognyan Gerdjikov's caretaker Cabinet replaced a total of 22 regional governors.
