Bulgaria will host the Calisthenics World Championship in 2025, Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation Secretary General Yordan Yovchev said Tuesday. The event will take place at Sofia's Asics Arena in April.

"We try to develop street fitness and parkour under the umbrella of the Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation. The fact that we became the host country of the World Championships next year will give us the opportunity to promote this discipline in our country. In parkour we have a world-class athlete, Kseniya Momchilova, who has won medals at World Cups and tournaments," Yovchev said.
