The annual meeting of the Association of Olympic Teams in Natural Sciences took place here on Monday under the auspices of President Rumen Radev. At the event, Radev said: "The International Science Olympiads have established themselves as one of the most prestigious competitions for students, and most importantly, for decades Bulgarian teams have been at the top of their rankings."
The head of State continued: "I know very well that behind this incredible success, 91 medals, behind every medal there is not only talent, but also year-round and persistent work, there is a lot of hardship and an incredible dedication and extremely good work, and a bond between the Olympians and their coaches and teachers. This year you have not only consolidated and defended your personal success, but you have raised Bulgaria to another higher level in this prestigious ranking. [...] Your success is much greater against the background of future challenges, both for science and for Bulgaria."
