An exhibition by Bulgarian artist Veneta Rangelova titled Things That Bother Me On A Daily Basis is set to be displayed at the UniCredit Studio gallery from June 13 to June 28, the exhibition organizers said Monday. This exhibition is part of a broader international initiative where artists are exploring fresh narratives for Europe.

The exhibition, designed as a typographic project, aims to encourage introspection on universal issues. It marks the start of the international project SIRIUS4all, which explores new narratives for Europe through art. Organizations like the Cultural Foundation A25, Freeartus, the CKI Art Centre, and Luoghi Comuni will focus on topics like refugee migration, environmental threats, wars, inequalities, security instability, acceleration, and digitisation in the context of a potential new Europe.

The project SIRIUS4all, symbolizing hope and unity, aims to create a new narrative for Europe through action, using art and culture as key tools. The team at SIRIUS4all, comprised of artists and researchers, is not in the business of fabricating stories or coining new catchphrases. Their main objective is to drive action, forging a new narrative for Europe.

They don't merely employ art and culture as instruments to ignite imagination or stir controversy. These elements are considered vital by the organizations, serving as potential remedies to confront and reconcile with the historical reality and the interrelation of new and old Europeans, the team emphasizes. They add that they will focus on Europe's cultural differences and involve artists of various nationalities, including migrants. They will conduct research and host events in Sofia, Berlin, Copenhagen, Perugia, Sicily, and online in 2024 and 2025.

The collective work from various countries will be compiled and showcased in a 3D online gallery for five years. This platform will offer fresh perspectives on Europe, promote the featured artists, and serve as an international stage for their work, fostering global contacts and experiences.

The project's initial phase starts in Sofia, Bulgaria in mid-June, where international artists and cultural managers will investigate the manifestation of Europe in Eastern Europe. The study will focus on Europe's cultural and historical influence on various aspects such as cityscapes, street art, literature, theatre, and food culture. The findings will contribute to a broader research initiative across multiple regions of Europe, with Eastern Europe being represented by Bulgaria. The A25 Cultural Foundation is the Bulgarian co-organizer of this research.
